13 Days har fået mulighed for pickup i københavn

Folkene bag 13 Days: A Game of the Cuban Missile Crisis har taget kritikken fra brugerne til sig og gør det nu muligt at undgå told og gebyr på spillet. Der er kommet mulighed for at få spillet sendt til København og hente spillet der. Hvor og hvornår er ikke helt på plads endnu.

Hvis du backer nu, vil du blive spurgt om du er med i KBH puck up, når spillene skal sendes. Hvis alt går efter planen vil dette være til december.

I had a couple questions about “How do you know it isn’t a problem to ship?” Ultimately with the last project (Kremlin), 600+ games were delivered to Europe and only two were caught up in customs—and then I helped resolve those by filing extra paperwork, etc.—I explained the breakdown of product cost, handling, and shipping.

Being as they are from Denmark, methods of getting games to European backers is a big thing for Asger and Daniel, so I’ve really checked on this stuff.

With that said, there ARE national guidelines that can get in the way sometimes—the example that keeps coming up seems to be Denmark actually, so….

The designers have arranged for a Copenhagen pick-up. This means any backer can have the game delivered to the designers, and they will subsequently organize pick up sites and times in the Copenhagen area. I don’t know an address yet, I don’t know when it’ll happen—those are details that have to wait until later.

But hopefully this is reassuring for worried Danes. —And it won’t change my bidding process with factories or anything else to make life easier for backers who are not within the US.
